Swift history

Hi
Can anyone explain who built the 400 series?
As far as I can see the obvious difference is the toe tail that is molded in on the 400.
I know Shetland built some but only two max I think so who built the rest?
Also these later boats are said to be heavier and poorer fittings? Does heavier mean stronger and the poorer fittings are replacable?
Its clear everyone thinks the Swiftcraft are best but are the newer 400 series ok or ok depending who built them?
Hopr this makes sence.
Cheers
Tony
