Winches

Post by AFG » Wed Apr 07, 2010 4:15 pm

Anybody serviced their winches?

Am thinking about doing it and didn't want to fill the cockpit with rollers, springs and bits of greasy unidentifiable gubbins ...

Cheers,

Tony G

If you have the chrome Barlow 15's, which I think were standard fitments, then they are easy to take apart, requiring no tools, and there are only a few 'small' parts inside, most of which will stay attached when you open them. Attached is a service guide for these winches.
