Hi, The raised transom was not a Rondonay job. Sorry, I cannot remember who posted the job. Pauline Oct 16, 2008 01:17:20 PM, forum-general@swift18.org wrote: Greetings Tony. Hi Tony Yes the toerail is behind the headlining so it would affect it. The balsa layer is not really involved, The headlining is, however, an expensive and tricky job. Hi. The ex-owner of Giulia was a member of the Norfolk Wherry Trust & as I recall was Norwich-based, can't help beyond that I'm afraid. It sounds like you were on Turkey Broad, off Barton? It's really shallow. Hickling is ok inside the markers but a paddling depth outside.. The keel surgery was occa...

Hi I seem to remember that Mike (Project boat) tried to find this stuff and drew a blank. The better news is that he can probably put you on to an acceptable alternative. Hi,I can't work out what halyard you mean, Philip. See Rob's comment, sounds like you have a set up problem, check it out new rotostays are about a grand! Our rotostay is reluctant if there is not enough tension and the solution is to tighten the backstay so that there is a bit of pre-bend in the mas...

Hello BenWe, Phill & I, sail South Walsham, Black Horse Broad(aka Little Hoveton) at Horning and Wroxham Broad mainly. Wroxham is the biggest and probably the best, but I like Black Horse for a good afternoon sail, and S Walsham for late afternoon/evening. When we mudweight there in season the swall...

Hi Sundance, The keel is designed to pop up at moments like this, should be OK have a good look in the technical archives there will be something there. Have fun with your new acquisition. There should be a pin for the tack that runs through the mounting just below the reefing hooks. Berth cushion fabric

The original stuff was Welsh wool tweed. THis may be a good starting point. Very 70's /80's so E-bay may help with vintage fabric. If it's not welsh wool...couldn't see the pic. Then try cheapfabrics online they are brilliant.

"whacker" still leaking!

We have had water in from the keel box when the boat has four adults on board. Recent work on the keel may have fixed this, I haven't checked yet. I guess the combination of mud suction & incoming tide could have an effect similar to the pressure of four folk aboard. Post generated using Mail2Forum ...
