AFG posted a 'checklist when buying' in the for sale section. item 3 says earlier boats had a problem with the forestay fixing. Looks like i might be looking into every detail too much. Thanks for passing on your experience. i might have been narrowing my search a wee bit too much.

Im looking at the purchase of a swift which has the old style forestay deck fixings.
Ive read the reports of the older boats having a problem, presumably its a weak design????
Does anybody know if these older boats can be converted to the sugar scoop design and where it can be purchased from.????

Ive not owned a swift but have been looking for months for the right one to buy.
Does anybody know of one for sale in good condition with trailer.
