Oh the joys of boat maintenance. I’ve made a start on the antifouling and have taken the washboards out to varnish them just before it pees down (of course.) I’m also making another outboard well blank after the previous two both broke loose and went west. I have now heeded others advice and am raising the outboard mounting. This is all squashed in between doing up the visitor’s bedroom, installing a bathroom suite and another kitchen. It’s a good job I’m semi-retired because I've hardly got time to do even my part time job.
I’ve just been given another little job. Now can someone please explain to me how, by drive six miles in a 4 by 4 to take 8 plastic bottles to the recycling plant is somehow helping the environment!
I felt I just had to get that off my chest.

SHAME on you Terry! You should have recycled the bottles as fenders, hand stitching covers from old M&S y fronts.

Undies are already recycled as dusters but what will I do with all the fenders the bottles are replacing?
