Back with my little old swift

Post by Fishy23 » Sun Oct 14, 2018 7:45 pm

Well after 10 years of Hurley 22 I’m back with my old swift ( a freebie) I couldn’t refuse. Well the Hurley was fine but my sails are around the Farnes and my little mud hole mooring here means recovering onto a trailer help with mast erection etc etc was becoming fraught. Swift, well launch, recovery, mast, mooring all so much easier she floats in not much more than a foot so using from moorings at most state of the tides is fine

Good to read about you with the Swift.
I have recently purchased one and currently working on it with the help of my brother.
we hope to launch it spring 2019.
Bob.

Thanks Bob it’s going to be a long haul I’ve got the keel off to replace the threaded screw with new 20mm acme lead screw. Headlining a shambles so all off I’m debating how to replace it, we’ll see.
