Laid up near Cheltenham?

Post by davidj » Wed Feb 18, 2009 10:56 pm

After many decades of dinghy sailing I now need to progress to a boat with a little ballast that is still responsive.

Having studied specifications and photographs, the Swift 18 looks like the ideal boat for me. However, I never seen one!

I would be most grateful if someone could spare a little time to show me their boat and give me some idea of what to look out for when buying secondhand. I live just north of Cheltenham but, for medical reasons, can only travel around 60 miles at present.

Hi David,

No Problem, Boat is uncovered at present & needs a clean but you are welcome to have a look, I'm off most weekends, just household chores etc, please feel free to give me a call to arrange. I live in Wickhamford between Evesham & Broadway
