We are seriously considering a new addition to the crew list in the form of a Cocker Spaniel, does anyone else take their pet sailing? Gary& Ruth
update we collect our Cocker Spaniel "Skipper" next w/e

I used to take my collie sea kayaking and would take a dog on the boat if I still had one, Alas, we had to knock her on the head two years ago due to a nasty cancerous growth.

Hi Terry,
there's a picture of a springer spaniel in a life jacket at the back of this month's PBO!
I guess you might need guardrail netting?

Yes, they always have a witty doggie thing in the back of PBO. my dog used to just sit on the back of the kayak. If she fell in I just yanked her back up again. Seemed to like it though.
