Hello there. I was curious about the value of the S18 moulds, and raised the question on the YBW Practical Boat Owner forum.

I don't know if any Swift owners responded to that, but there were plenty of responses on the general subject of whether acquiring the moulds is likely to mean more, new boats appearing.

I was optimistic. You may be interested to see what was said. I started the thread, entitled "Moulds for sale. Valuation, anybody?"
...better to be in here, wishing you were out there, than out there wishing you were in here...

Really good news! The design has always been way ahead of its time.

Hi all,
I notice that Sonar yachts and their swift18.net websites are no longer available, anyone know what's happened? Does this mean there wont be any new Swifts after all?

Swift 18 moulds for sale on Boats and Outboards

Post by BGH1501 » Wed Jul 04, 2012 8:05 am

Hi Rob
Have sorted out site problem. Server host described it as a "glitch"!!

Swift is taking longer than I hoped but paying work is taking priority at moment. Mouldings all assembled and am just fitting keel at the moment.

Busy delivering boat's to Weymouth this week but will take some photos to update ASAP

Regards
Brian
