The Swift 800 motor cruiser

Post by dancrane » Wed Feb 02, 2011 2:25 pm

Hello Swift owners. I'm trying to locate an open-cab motor cruiser from the mid 'eighties, which I believe was called the Swift 800, and which used the same foam buoyancy between hull skins, as the Swift 18, in a bid for unsinkability.
There doesn't seem to be ANYTHING written anywhere about it, since it appeared in Motor Boat and Yachting, in about 1985. Does anyone know if it ever went into production? My attempt to inquire on the YBW forum, had no responses. It's odd, because the boat looked like a winner.
Thanks.

PS...Windsong, sorry for my daft questions about this website. It all suddenly worked without difficulty. Temporary technical glitch, perhaps.
