Not fixed the tracking onto the deck yet,can see the marks on the deck
where you should fix it,but have been lucky enough to obtain some
longer track sections, would it be better to have longer track ,about 2!
6"long? and have the extra lenth towards the stern,to use if I had a
cruising shute, some photos show control lines going right back to
blocks nr the cockpit!!regards mike in cold damp norfolk.!

genoa track position on new swift build
genoa track position on new swift build
The foot of my genoa is 11' (a good bit bigger than most) so I've
extended my tracks by adding a bit of left over reefing line track I
found at the local chandlers. It's the same cross section as the
swift's track but I had to drill the holes out a bit. The cars slide
back & forth fine but the jury's still out on whether there is any
advantages sailing. In all, they go back about 6" more than before.
