Just a word of caution about the increasing amount of personal information (phone numbers, email addresses and the like) included in this open forum. I know that in these days of Facebook and other social networking sites people have become used to giving all kinds of information to the rest of the planet but can I remind members that the site has an internal emailing service and a private message facility both of which can be used to protect your identity. So if you’re, say, selling a boat or making arrangements to meet another member it might be better to use either of these services.
