Towing with rudder fitted

Post by helenandpete » Tue Mar 03, 2009 10:40 pm

Hi
Does anyone tow their Swift with the rudder still fitted on the pintel? I have only towed Tadpole once so far and that was the trip home from Brixham after buying her. I removed the rudder assy and left it in the cockpit because I was concerned about damage. However I wonder if it would be OK to leave it fitted? :-s
Best Regards

Peter

My rudder pin secures the bottom of my mast support bracket.
