boat lift in
Hi, Helped with a crane in at catfield(cratfield?) dyke ,had about 6ins of water at the very end of the dyke.!! Lots of people getting worried about the low water level, have to pray for rain I think. Some guy said that it was normal for this time of year, but 14ins is a bit much.!! Regards Mike

winch use via blocks
Using a12mm multi plait (soft/bit fluffy) seems ideal,but the angle has to be wrong as the rope only just clears the grp when the block is right back.BUT if the block was 2ins higher this would solve it,this would reduce the angle the rope feeds out of the block onto the winch clearing the grp deck....

Hi all, think the answer is to raise the blocks, will give it some thought. Went to the Norfolk Broads last week to help lift in a cornish shrimper, NO WATER!!!!!! Anybody had probs with the genoa (foresail) rope not being at the right angle to use the winch.? Hi, When I fixed mine, I ended up doing the following......... Hi, How about a grp hatch(thin plate with flange)that fits the opening,and has a locking bar with bolt/wingnut.? Push the plate through the opening,fit locking bar,tighten wing nut.!! Regards MIKE

diy coppercoat anti/fouling
