Mast Crutch
Hi, I made one from 2x1 timber.I started with two 3' lengths but this is too much really. Drilled several holes for multiple positions and put a big bolt and wing nut through the lot. I drilled a further hole about 40 cms from the base of each and at the base. I use these to lash the crutch to the b...

It looks likw Welsh Wool to me, very trendy in the early 80s. You could test a small patch? If you have a friend with a sewing machine, your fraying fears could be a thing of the past with a bit of judicious zig-zagging. Yes, I added the memory foam to the original foam filling. It fitted, much to my relief. I did worry that there might be a strain on the covers but cut the foam slightly smaller than the main matress and it's fine. It wouldn't work on the v berth though because the covers are much tighter on Rondona...

Hello Everyone. I bought a double bed size 3 cm thick memory foam matress topper from EBay for £29. This I cut to the shape of the 1/4 berth matress squabs and put them into the covers on top of the original matresses, which were in amazingly good condition. The result is a much more comfortable bu...
