In fact its so good I think Geoff should be promoted to !HEAD PATTERN MAKER!... not tried sewing any velcro , but the stuff I have is VERY thick,so sugestions please. Might try the boat up...

Terry, No bolt rope, I think that the shape of the main,when lowered tends to fall towards the back of the boom,rather than evenly over the boom. Bit like how you !FLAKE! a sail for folding. The sail is brand new very stiff and hard and difficult to flex. Will see what Geoffs template is like .REGAR...

Trying to make myself a sail cover, have made a template but seems to require a bulge,rather than a taper from mast to boom end.! John, 4HP Short shaft is the min you could get away with .Some have invested in the(new)5HP four stroke, depending on where you sail(for the extra power)But a 5hp will be a tight fit, you might have to have a cut out in the stern engine bay GRP !

Hi,...I think most people end up using tape,!! The white plastic ones wear through quickly as the mast is raised and lowered to avoid bridges (in norfolk anyway) They only hold the cable in place,and help to reduce wear on the end of the spreader. regards mike in windy norfolk
